    Worth every penny! You will not find a more personal experience. We have done other rides in Texas but none compared to this. Gary is amazing and taught me how to close a fence while mounted.   • Outstanding trail ride on great horses that are well loved and taken care of and not the typical nose to tail ride. Really a great ride and Gary was very patient and helpful. Highly recommend. A little pricey compared to other rides we have done all over the country, but it is a full 2 hrs on great terrain. Highly recommend.

  • Shelby was fantastic and the ranch is so beautiful. The horses were so good and healthy. We went all over the hill country and had a surprise delicious snack at the lookout point. Everything was so relaxed and enjoyable. Would highly recommend!

Gary Gayler, Founder of Horseback Adventures of Central Texas

Gary Gayler is the culmination of over 50 years training, instructing and horse related business adventures that includes film, artist photo shoots, polocrosse, polo, cattle gatherings, sorting, etc. Gary, while wrangling on film projects, instructs and advises actors and models on the horsemanship aspects required.
